Glenn Bach, M.A., M.F.A.
Glenn Bach, is a sound artist and poet based in Long Beach, California, who has an M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting (2004); an M.A., in Studio Art (2000), and B.F.A., Drawing/Painting/Intermedia (1991) from the California State University, Long Beach. Dedicated to a lifelong pursuit of transforming sound, image and text in a unified body of work, Bach explores the interstices of perception and memory in landscape-based sound scapes and experimental poetry. With sound-based releases on numerous online and CD labels, as well as poetry excerpted in hundreds of national and international journals, Bach also taught sound and media production at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and the Art Institute of California—Orange County. He has worked as a Studio Artist and Curatorial Associate at the Orange County Museum of Art since 2009.
