Peace in Motion Café Movie Night Presents: Dirt! The Movie

Peace in Motion Café Movie Night is a great place to meet other conversationalists, an opportunity to support community activism, and a perfect third date at Center for Living Peace!  Each month, a socially stimulating film is screened with group discussion following.

EVENT IS CAFÉ STYLE – Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beer and wine refreshments.  Wine glasses will be provided, however, please bring your own utensils and plates.

This month’s film synopsis :

We're talking dirt! Not soil, not earth, not loam, not dust, just plain old dirt, which this lively and enlightening documentary asserts is the planet's protective skin that contains all those other things, but also a whole bunch more. Inspired by William Bryant Logan’s acclaimed book Dirt: The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth, Dirt! The Movie takes a humorous and substantial look into the history and current state of the living organic matter that we come from and will later return to. Dirt! The Movie will make you want to get dirty (PBS)!

Watch the trailer!
