Kelly Lam Presents: The Whole Body Detox
Every Spring we work to rid our home of excess clutter, have you ever considered doing the same for your body? Kelly Lam of The Whole Purpose and Chef Jenny Ross of 118 Degrees will work together to guide you to “spring clean” your system through a whole body detox. The series will focus on wellness cleansing through food and restoring emotional balance by creating a loving relationship with yourself, based off of Suza Scalora's Love 365 program. This seasonal wellness cleanse will step you right into Spring with a healthier and more mindful you. Each evening will include a food preparation demo by Chef Jenny and open forum discussion with special guests.
Each student will take away a better understanding of how to connect with food by safely detoxing seasonally, boost energy through food intake and wellness practices. Great recipes, pamphlets, and goodies will be provided to take home!
*Participants must attend the first session on April 17th but are not required to attend all remaining sessions. We want to make sure that everyone starts their cleanse with the same provided information.
Overview of program:
April 17, 7:30pm-9:30pm - For our first session, we will begin to breakdown the 21 day Seasonal Wellness calendar, discuss food options, recommended products, and go through a step by step of how to incorporate living foods to your diet while eliminating processed foods.
April 24, 7:30pm-9:30pm - Our evening discussion will be based around the importance of juicing, its benefits, how to juice, recipes and why we should give our stomachs a rest and how to incorporate solid food back into your diet safely.
May 1, 7:30pm-9:30pm - This session will begin with a restorative yoga class designed around all levels. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing. Our class discussion will be based on the importance of eating seasonal and from the earth, how to eat clean and still make it convenient for on the go lifestyles.
May 8, 7:30pm-9:30pm- For our last session together, we will discuss how our bodies feel after a 21 day cleanse, how to continue to keep a clean diet and the importance of resetting your system through a cleanse with every new season.
