The Ecology Center Presents: Herb Gardens (For All Ages)

Learn the practices of growing herbs to be used for food and medicine.

Do you know which herbs grow best together? Or, have you ever heard of an herb spiral garden? Herbs promote health and are the foundation for modern medicine. In this workshop, we will learn herb basics and how to utilize herbs in beneficial ways. You’ll learn to understand herb characteristics, growing techniques, how to make herbs thrive, as well as basics on how to prepare teas, tinctures and oils used in herbal healing. All levels of garden skill are welcome.

By participating in this program you are supporting The Ecology Center’s Backyard Skills workshops, which encourages people to be part of the solution by teaching them the building blocks to have a sustainable culture.

Class fills quickly!  Advanced registration requested.  Drop-ins are welcome, subject to availability.
