The Art of Nature, presented by Orange County Museum of Art

Enjoy special time together as you and your child practice the principles of sculpture. Summer is a time to enjoy the sunshine and all that nature has to offer us. A perfect summer activity to practice gratitude for nature, we'll view artist Andy Goldsworthy's film, Rivers and Tides. Practicing repetition and pattern, work independently or collaboratively to create sculptural forms out of pebble, leaves, sticks and other found materials.

Inspired by the Orange County Museum of Art’s current exhibition, Alexander Calder and Contemporary Art: Form, Balance, Joy, April 10 – September 4, 2011.
